Information: Eldest son of the famous Filipino (Ballad) singer King of Kundiman Ric Manrique, Jr. Studied in different martial arts in Judo, Tae Kwon Do/Hapkido, Kali and finally an art that I wish to master and to share with others to promote the Filipino tradition and an art that me as a Filipino can be proud of. Thank you, Grandmaster Larry Alcuizar, for your never-ending research and teaching in the art of Eskrido/Combat Judo. I will try to do my best to promote our art and share it with others who are interested. Thank you to my sparring partner, friend, and brother in the art, Harold Bugarin, for all the help and pain we both endured during and after the training and to Albert Blanco who helps me train with the left hand and to Eric Aguilar and Eric Arabit for their never ending wish to learn the techniques given by Grandmaster Larry. Currently employed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court South District, San Pedro Court I use my Eskrido teaching and discipline
in every day life, not only outside but also in my work in the court, to have Focus,
